Hum turns your handheld or palmtop into a portable MP3 player, supporting MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MP3, and WAV formats. Hum plays MP3 music and audio content direct from flash memory. It features AdaptivePlay technology, which is designed to deliver optimal audio reproduction regardless of whether a device supports mono or stereo sound, monochrome or color display. True plug-and-play capability allows Hum to detect inserted storage cards automatically, and the program will play immediately if the card contains audio files. It also features autoplay and an intuitive user control panel, and it won't drain batteries as rapidly as conventional music players. This program ships with full support for European and Japanese versions, in addition to English versions of Windows CE. In addition, Hum offers support for color palmtops and HPC Pros. Users of the European and Japanese versions can now choose the location of their files, whether those files are located in the program memory or inside the storage card. Version 1.5 introduces full-featured playlist support. In addition, users can download the color skins of their choice directly from the Utopiasoft site, or create their own skins easily by modifying existing ones.
